again, i am online. the homestay is so nice~

well, first of all, share my experience today.

in the moring, we went to the WA mint, which is the place for producing gold bars and coins. i even touched and lifted a real gold bar! 12 kilos, wow! hope i have stolen that.

then, we went to the parliament houe of WA, had a visit of the chambre, upper house, lower house, and even got the role acted out in the lower house. i am not the government, but the opponent. that was not the most fantastic. the best is for the last, lunch!! formal lunch! we sat in a room with beautiful decoratioin, it was a pity that we couldn't take the camera in and take a photo. there were those long tables for us. everyone's got one sery of knives, foxes, and spoons. we've got two cups, one for lemonade and one for cold water. first was the entree, soup made from sweat potato and pumpkin, delicious! secondly, main course, king prawn and fish, with vegetables beautifully set on the plate. then, dessert with lots of kinds of fresh fruit and icecream and chocolate. at last, tea or coffee. we even had a toast during the lunch, for friendship (of WA and Zhejiang). can't describe the lunch in words, just splendid!

this evening we've got mexican food at hostfamily, delicious.

hello guys

this is Isabel from Perth, WA.

today is a big day in AUS, for the final of a aus football match is held in Melbourne. the match is between WA- eagles and Sydney- swans. as lonng as i am in perth, of course ,we support eagles!! unfortunately, it was a tiring trip, so i fell asleep before the match ended. but as soon as i woke up, i asked for the result. eagles wins! only by one point.

all right, must close now. i'm living in a very nice homestay, life is quite good, and i'm looking forward to tomorrow's walk to the beach. hope tomorrow's gonna be a sunny day. i love sun, love perth.

刚刚看完这部电影 must love dogs

平时没事就喜欢在EMULE上乱下电影,结果搞得我emule的incoming文件夹里面都是电影和电影原声带.下来了我又懒得去看,时间长么,要一两个钟头.相比较,tv series要有诱惑力多了,再加上最近迷恋l word,就根本没看过一部电影.今天也是吃饭的时候没事干,随便找了本轻松的,看这个名字,又是只有一个半小时,就准备拿来看看.

刚开始看的时候我都要睡着了,主角年纪不轻,又不fashion,属于那种中年了但是还算sexy的那种,个人觉得和desperate housewives里面的Susan有点相似,只不过没有Susan那么神经质.现在想来Susan也是离婚的单身女人,must love dogs的主角Sarah也是,hus有外遇,被抛弃.家人都给她介绍好让失落的她快点好起来.中间部分我就不多说了,总之就是romantic comedy的一贯套路,重重磨难,阴差阳错,但最后两个人还是在一起．故事情节实在上没什么意思，典型的romantic comedy,再加上演员都是中年偏老一类,我想当初上映的时候票房大概都不怎样吧.

我觉得影片唯一的亮点是有几处的语言,还有sarah爸爸念诗那一段.其实背景音乐也不错了,the first cut is the deepest都给用上了.

现在去找找看那首诗,叫什么铜便士.
